Day 4: Central Park & 5th Avenue

Time to say goodbye 😢 — but not before walking through Central Park and down the infamous 5th Avenue.

At Central Park we visited nearly every filming spot from Gossip Girl, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and — as we learned later on — John Wick. It’s really astonishing that such a crowded city can have a quiet, green oasis right in the middle. The contrast with the skyscrapers behind is especially striking.

After Central Park we walked down 5th Avenue — again. We didn’t mention it before, but there were actually two days between our first and second day here because Max attended QCon AI New York. Because of that, some pictures are mixed between the days so we wouldn’t withhold the precious tree at night from you.

Now it was really time to say goodbye. Since this city has so much to see, it’s certainly not the last goodbye.
